About
I run an independent consultancy practice based out of Zürich, working with businesses across different industries to understand problems, spot patterns and find practical ways forward.
I have been drawn to entrepreneurship from a young age, and remain particularly interested in technology, science, entrepreneurship and the people behind ambitious ventures. My background spans science, technology, entrepreneurship and investing, and I enjoy working on problems that sit between disciplines, industries and cultures.
More about me
I grew up across several countries and was drawn to entrepreneurship and the startup world from a young age.
I studied Life Sciences Engineering at EPFL, followed by neuroscience at ETH Zürich and the University of Zürich, alongside coursework in management and economics. I launched several projects of my own before eventually diving deeper into venture capital and startup investing.
My academic and professional background naturally brought me close to deep tech, hard tech and life sciences. Personally, however, I am just as interested in consumer-facing and more traditional businesses, particularly when the product and its impact are immediately visible. I quite enjoy businesses you can understand without needing a PhD.
Outside work, I enjoy reading, travelling and cycling in the mountains. I also spend time on community projects such as Group 54, which brings curious people together for small conversations with people who have something interesting to share.

FAQ
Do you only work with technology companies?
No. Technology and science are where much of my background lies, but I also enjoy working with more traditional and consumer-facing businesses. The common denominator is usually an interesting problem rather than a particular industry.
Do you only advise, or do you build as well?
Both. When it makes sense, I can help implement what we develop rather than stopping at recommendations. When a project requires expertise I do not have, I can also help find and work with the right partners.
What does a typical project look like?
It depends on the problem. Most projects start with a clearly defined scope and are divided into phases with specific deliverables and check-ins along the way. Some end there, while others continue into implementation or ongoing support.
Do you only work with companies in Switzerland?
No. I am based in Zürich, but I work with companies internationally and most projects can be run remotely.
